After prolonged use of Executor, our original pick for best application launcher, we found one very glaring oversight: it still doesn't work well on 64-bit machines. That is, on 64-bit machines, it can only launch 32-bit programs, which defeats the point of an application launcher. A few years ago, this may have only affected a minority of users, but these days, a lot of people are running 64-bit Windows, and Executor's lack of regard for this makes us unable to recommend it as the best. If you're still running 32-bit Windows, we definitely recommend checking it out, but for everyone else, we're back to recommending the feature-filled, yet easy-to-use Launchy.
